What's The Opposite Of "Start The Car"?
It's certainly not "stop the car", at any rate.
"Turn off the engine" is the correct one
I have heard the phrase "kill the engine" especially when you have an emergency situation, such as a fire.
"stop the car" is something different -- something that happens, for example, at a stop sign or a red light.
